Website and Portal
We have refreshed the MFE Program website to include more content, including the addition of an alumni area with profiles featuring class and current employment information. To enhance your post-MFE experience, we are working on an MFE Alumni Portal to provide you with exclusive access to events, personal/professional development sessions, job opportunities, and more. The portal will launch in 2021 and we will share more information with you soon.
Program Modification
The MFE Program undergoes a major modification beginning in July 2021. As capital markets and finance internship recruitment seems to move earlier every year, we have revised the program’s timing to better align with industry timelines. By initiating professional development activities earlier, this new July start date gives students an edge in securing internship opportunities. The modification also provides them with more flexibility to pursue off-cycle internships as well as to balance their academic course load. Moreover, as our program develops future leaders and talent in the industry, more time with the students will enhance their depth of knowledge and provide greater opportunities for networking.
Staffing Changes
Resources for students and alumni are consolidated in two staff appointments in the last year: Jeffrey Ferrer, Assistant Director, Career and Outreach Development, and Caren Li, MFE Program Assistant. Feel free to connect with them.
