Co-Hosted By: CFA Society Toronto’s Institutional Asset Management Committee and the Toronto Association for Business and Economics (TABE).
Level: Intermediate/ Advanced

Overview
“What can investors anticipate during these uncertain times?”, has been one of the industry’s main themes over the past three years and often a universal topic of conversation among all degrees of investment stakeholders.

In this session, participants will listen in on discussions that industry executives have with their contemporaries about this question and their views on short-term concerns including: are we heading into recession?  Will inflation continue to improve?  The skill of central banks to pivot from tightening to easing, and what this means for investors.

Hear what our moderator, Eric Lascelles, the Chief Economist for RBC GAM and two senior panelists, one from the pension world, and one from the individual wealth management world, as they will drill down on market-specific subjects, such as Chinese equities (can they perform more reliably?), U.S. equities (are they transitioning from leader to laggard?), margins (can they continue to rise?), the outlook for private assets, and the impact of de-globalization on markets.

Participants have the chance to engage with the panelists during the session and network with industry peers following the discussions.
